Announcement

Families who have children and young people with special needs very often deal with similar life styles. We have all had concerns ranging from education, acess to services, respite and other issues directly related to their childrens needs. Parents of disabled children bring families together for friendship, to share information and to support one another.

The forum was created by parents who have children with special needs and is run by parents so we are all in this together. With us you will realise you are not alone

Parents of disabled children launched in October 2009 and we are growing day by day and are fastly becoming a major support resource for all

Fancy dress day..
cheapsensorytoys
..Well the day has come,
Gets sam up this morning and by gosh did he fight with me why i was putting on hes 'Robbin hood' costume.
I bribed him and said Robin was Roary (The raceing car)'s friend and that he would want him to wear it. Sam still kicked and screamed.. but gave in in the end. So i gave him a little treat just to pinch a snap shot lol!

Heres the pic of my little girl (Ellie2) & my little man (Sam5) as robin hood.. (For those who aint aware, Sam has severe global development delays + other disabilitys.. x)

Wel..
It didnt last long lol!
After i took this pic this morn he went into the front room shouting 'ger woff, i want woff' and took hes top off (For some reason hes never liked clothes and always strips off.. and done so for a while)
Anyway i ignored the behaviour and re dressed him and put hes coat on and sent him off to school with DP.
Anyway.. when DP picked him up.. suprise suprise the suit was in a bag.. and had been all day!! (no suprise there) ..
But he did come home with a certificate for being 'star of the week' as hes learnt hes 1st colour - red! Smile (proud isnt the word)
Also whilst im talkin about him not likeing clothes ... Just thought ide share this funny moment with you.

One day when Sam was in nursery.. Hes 121 was sat helping him to paint.. She went off to do somthing.. and when she came back she seen all the other Children laughing.. She was like what you laughing at.. Next min she comes across Sams undys.. Then hes top.. Then hes sock.. & there was Sam sat in the corner in the NUD! Haha
She said she didnt know were to put her face.. Esp when a lil girl started to ask why Sam had a tail and she never !! Hahahaa

Children eh, dont ya just love em!! <3
