Announcement

Families who have children and young people with special needs very often deal with similar life styles. We have all had concerns ranging from education, acess to services, respite and other issues directly related to their childrens needs. Parents of disabled children bring families together for friendship, to share information and to support one another.

The forum was created by parents who have children with special needs and is run by parents so we are all in this together. With us you will realise you are not alone

Parents of disabled children launched in October 2009 and we are growing day by day and are fastly becoming a major support resource for all

cheapsensorytoys
well last night i had my dad round having a go at me sayin i always put my mum first and he always helps me but i always go back to my mum (shes been helping me this week as she has had a week off and my dad doesnt like it) and hes had enough of it and stormed out slamming the door waking charlie up Sad
all this because i hadnt spoke to him since monday, yet he hasnt spoken to me either n he said i sit on my arse all day n he has a job!! this has all stemmed from him not bein able to see charlies consultant on monday coz he cudnt get the time off as this is obviously my fault!!!!!
so now he basicly doesnt want anythin 2 do with me great just wen i need my family but i dnt need ppl like that around me or charlie Angry

Families eh? Cant live with them, cant find a big enough ditch to throw them into! Wink
My sister was horrible when my daughter started needing more help years ago, we used to spend a lot of time together and even ran a business together but I walked away, set up on my own and stuck two fingers up as we had enough to deal with. Things are different now, she lives in Australia with her 2 Children and we talk every few weeks on the phone............ sometimes the rules on family relationships just HAVE to be rewritten.
I hope your dad calms down and takes a long look at his behaviour, but if not it wont be the end of the world.......... time can be a great healer SmileSmileSmile
