I know how you feel I am 23, and ironically up until I moved away from my mom age 19 I didnt have much of a social life as I was always expected to look after my brother and sister when she worked. I didn't moan but It did upset me! Then I fell pregnant at 21 and haven't really been out since!! I didn't expect to go out loads I am a mom and I am happy.. but I thought I'd get some Jenni time! I am just waiting for her dad to feel capable now might take a while but we'll get there!

I didn't know my real dad, my step dad has been there since I was a baby- I do love him but.. he wasn't the greatest partner to my mom.. he has like 11 Children so we rarely saw him... But if I ever need anything I just ring him and he helps- accept baby sitting- having 11+ Children, 3 grand daughters keeps him very busy! So I am lucky in that sense.

And I know not many mothers expect anything for looking after their grandchildren- My nan included, she was so nice when we stayed over we all had to share one bed (she only had one) and she would sleep on her settee, and she'd phone everyday etc but my mom said she was a bad nan :| I understand because of the alcohol.. but comparing my mom and my nan as grandparents.. eh..
