We have all had concerns ranging from education, acess to services, respite and other issues directly related to their childrens needs. Parents of disabled children bring families together for friendship, to share information and to support one another.

The forum was created by parents who have children with special needs and is run by parents so we are all in this together. With us you will realise you are not alone

Parents of disabled children launched in October 2009 and we are growing day by day and are fastly becoming a major support resource for all

what will happen?
cheapsensorytoys
Hi, does anyone know what will happen regarding my son's schooling, he's been suspended twice, his school has said they can't cope with his aggresive behaviour anymore, so basically he's been out of school for about 3wks. We have been looking at special schools for him and have found one that would be brillant for him but it's private so the council have said he more than likely won't get a place there, so we have agreed to a council run school for now then will appeal and try for the other school. The school they have choosen for him is full and they are adament and don't want to accept anymore children, but the council said they have to, the school say's that's not the case. Basically what would happen if he can't get in this school as all the other special schools in our area are full too!, any help would be appreciated please.x
