Announcement

Families who have children and young people with special needs very often deal with similar life styles. We have all had concerns ranging from education, acess to services, respite and other issues directly related to their childrens needs. Parents of disabled children bring families together for friendship, to share information and to support one another.

The forum was created by parents who have children with special needs and is run by parents so we are all in this together. With us you will realise you are not alone

Parents of disabled children launched in October 2009 and we are growing day by day and are fastly becoming a major support resource for all

VERY ANGRY

Its a special needs pram that has so many straps holding it down on the bus, plus a seat belt, it doesn't move when in transport so its very safe. She came home from the bus with ugly strap on the top of her legs, but at least she didn't fall down the pram and was sitting were she was supposed to be.

I dont blame you for being angry, I would have been absolutely furious with them.
All transport for special schools should be run by the education.
My sons previous transport were brilliant they never left his side due to him having no sense of danger and they always had either the driver or escort stay the same so the Children felt comfortable.
His new transport seem ok so far but ive made it obvious that im watching them as I stand by the bus door until hes secure and his school and transport are aware that if anything bad happened to any of the Children I would make sure they never work again and they know I will do it.
Dont give up, annoy them enough and theyll think twice before messing up.
