In my dd school we have children with all different dissabilities and the children held a meeting to deciced on events for everyone to enjoy as well as the old favorites. This worked very well, there is nothing worse than being given a head start and still not winning. The school must rethink there sports day. I have just joined and my daughter is 10, she starts primary 7 and p1 to p3 were fine in her wheelchair, but since p4 she hasnt attended sports day because she felt different. She again is the only child in her school. Sometimes they tend to forget her, which i know is silly but he ho thats life. So i know how u fee,,, we just have a day on our own that day authorised by the school. |

I really hate it when Children get excluded for things like this. My neice is diabetic, and at the end of school, the teachers in her class hired a chocolate fountain?? Her mum took her out for the day, she couldn't bear the thought of her daughter sitting watching everyone else use the fountain
