Families who have children and young people with special needs very often deal with similar life styles. We have all had concerns ranging from education,acess to services,respite and other issues directly related to their childrens needs. Parents of disabled children bring families together for friendship, to share information and to support one another.

The forum was created by parents who have children with special needs and is run by parents so we are all in this together. With us you will realise you are not alone

We won Krystall's statement of educational needs July 2009 which is up for the annual review in either June or July 2010. We have a pre-review meeting with Krystall's school on 14th May at 08.45am. We managed to get Krystall into a mainstream school as academically, she isn't behind. The statement was agreed on the needs of her medical issues regarding her heart defect, how it affects her.
If some-one can enlighten me on what goes on in the review would be great. I am not a big fan of meetings and am starting to stress a bit Confused
