hello my daughter is Tutored at home due to being too ill for school. the start of the new term is now in full swing and there have been some changes to her tutors time table , instead of just one tutor she now has three to cope with, my concern is that the tutor she has to teach her science we feel is being very insensitive Tashi is 15 she is very under weight due to her medical conditions and over the past two days they have been doing health and nutrition it has mad Tashi feel very uncomfortable as all her tutor has been on about is being under weight and anorexia and being a size zero. Tashi knows she is medically under weight and needs to put on weight but it dose not stop her feeling she is being put on we are waiting for a appointment for GOSH to have more tests done , but how do i tackle this very sensitive subject with out upsetting my daughter more ? thank you for your time Karen65 |

Try and reassue her that the teacher isn't being personal to her and maybe try having a word withthe teacher to see if they are aware how its making her feel. It might reassure her more if its not just coming from you. Maybe ask him to tackle the opposite about being overweight
