Home/school communication book
cheapsensorytoys
I was hoping someone could help me with this. I have been searching online for a while now but can't find what I am looking for.

In some special schools I have seen they had a book that went between home and school with the child. The school wrote in important things about the day and parents wrote in it if there was anything important.

The book had preprinted columns for who wrote what and where.

I need something like this for my son.
He currently uses a book with blank pages and I feel things often get missed.
I mentioned these other books I had seen to the nursery and they liked the idea but can not find one.

If anyone has a clue what I am talking about could you please scan me a picture of the pages (without the personal writing of course) so that I can make my own book or point me in the direction of where I can get my hands on one.

Thank you x

Dodgy

There comes a point in your life when you realize:Who matters,Who never did,Who won't anymore...And who always will..
So, don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it to your future.

Thanks Corinne and Pauline!

I am busy reading it all. What I had in mind was something like Pauline's and I will adapt it a bit.

In the mean time if anyone else has any info please do share Smile

Hi I know what you mean but these were done in scope for my son but only on paper as previously shown will dig one out and scan in why dont you just do your own it would be a lot easier than hunting around, put down exactly what you want or even do the boxes online or draw them yourself! Put them in a folder to keep. We always got them back at the end of the day and you could do what you wanted with them I kept them as a memory of his time there. It says something like ie how many times they had a poo/wee what they had for lunch/dinner/snack etc what they played with who they played with etc something like that, but Yeah i know what you mean, so dont worry you are not going mad,

My son has a school to home book and that is only plain pages it starts off really nice and then gets un readable at the end of the week, these were really good but when he went into the next stage they didnt do them anymore they only did them for the baby room. But they are much easier to understand so yes i agree with you.

Go on make your own two on a sheet of A4 should be enough depends on how much info you want to put on it, you dont want to do too much or they will get fed up with it and stop filling it in, i will scan in sheet i have got when i find it and attach this for you. speak soon . xxxDisappear
