Parents of disabled children bring families together for friendship, to share information and to support one another.

The forum was created by parents who have children with special needs and is run by parents so we are all in this together. With us you will realise you are not alone

Parents of disabled children launched in October 2009 and we are growing day by day and are fastly becoming a major support resource for all

eco friendly?

I was reading a proper newspaper today (usually just surf a few news sites on the www) but even the paper referred me to the internet......... I was looking for mothers day deals as I always get presents for my daughter from her animals, her being their mummy and me being their grandad.
Flowers are top of her list, she loves them but I had never considered 'flower miles' so from now on it's local grown stems for us.
The website I was pointed to is http://www.wigglywigglers.co.uk , a bit pricey but they do have that peace of mind factor if you worry as much as I do about our planet.

Ooohhh
Ive just noticed all the green freindly adverts showing.
These google ads do work sometimes Big Grin
Funny though because the company who do the green flowers and claim to be very ethical have servers for there webhosting NOT HERE IN THE UK but in the following countries:
Amsterdam, Netherlands, and Chicago

So the carbon footprint for there hosting company wouldnt be great!
Why dont ethical companies use green hosting with 100% carbon neutral servers?
Its something i would do if i was a green company i would look at everything from website hosting to postage and couriers etc.

If you send them an email here is a link to google results showing the companies who provide eco hosting.
Its a straight forward thing to transfer hosting and i do it on a daily basis Big Grin

It does seem daft to provide an eco freindly service and not consider these things.
