Hi there,
P levels are inbetween Foundation Stage (nursery & reception) and the National Curriculum (key stage 1 for infants.) So children on P levels are not yet working at Level 1 of the National Curriculum. There are 8 P levels with 8 being the highest and from there they move on to the National Curriculum. The 'average' child who doesn't have any difficulties would be expected to reach the average attainment level of 2b in numeracy, literacy and science by the time they do SATS in May. Hope this helps xx |
