Announcement

Families who have children and young people with special needs very often deal with similar life styles. We have all had concerns ranging from education, acess to services, respite and other issues directly related to their childrens needs. Parents of disabled children bring families together for friendship, to share information and to support one another.

The forum was created by parents who have children with special needs and is run by parents so we are all in this together. With us you will realise you are not alone

Parents of disabled children launched in October 2009 and we are growing day by day and are fastly becoming a major support resource for all

hi i dont know if anyone can help me. i have a 8 and a half year old son who has server learning difficulties. when i am out in the car/van with him he either takes his belt off and moves around the vehicle or he will slide under his belt. this is getting dangerous for him as well as others in the vehicle. i have 5 other children to look after as well so trying to drive and see what he is doing is very hard work. i didn't know if there was a special seat or belt attachment that will prevent him doing this he can already undo a harness strap baby seat as well as the belt. thanks for your help from laura

Try crelling harnesses. We don't fund these it our area but have found charities will help when needed. Sorry I can post the link. Google crelling harnesses. I have always found the company to be very helpful and have several families who swear by their products. Hope this helps
