Housing help with housing - sorry very long post

Hi first time i have posted, really having difficulties and just wondering if anyone has any advice.
we are a family of 6, have 4 daughters, aged 17, 13,12 and 7 years old. 17year old has Pathological demand avoidance autism, 12 year old has Spinal muscular Atrophy type 2, and uses an electric wheelchair amongst other equipment, and 7 year old is awaiting a diagnosis of aspergers syndrome and adhd. we live in a 4 bed adapted housing association house. however with all my wheelie daughters equipment, it is rapidly becoming a very small cramped house. we have had numerous conversations with ot from social services about having a downstairs bedroom built, as her bathroom is downstairs, but are now being told due to budget cuts no go. we have a lounge and kitchen downstairs, and my other children are getting hurt because she cannot move her wheelchairs around the rooms as they are tiny. She is only physically disabled and has no mental impairments, yet, she can not make herself a drink, get her toys out or do anything for herself, due to house being un accessible. as a parent i feel increasing frustrated as my daughter, gets up, comes down stairs in her lift and then sits in one place in lounge, as we have to move furniture for her to get around. then goes back to bed at night, what kind of life is this?? she has to share her bedroom with 13year old as because of the others having autism, they can not share, have tried but all hell breaks loose, and no one gets any rest. Her bedroom is too small for the both of them to share, but have no choice, she can not get around her room in her chair, so once hoisted out of lift she goes onto her bed and stays there, so can not get her toys or books etc.

is there any other agencies, or charities that could help, getting no where with social services, have taken them through tribunal and to houses of parliament to get bathroom adapted, that took 7 years, my daughter requires 24 hour care and support, she can not toilet or bath herself, and can be manual handled, due to major spinal surgery.

Please can anyone help, this situation is so desperate.

Where do you live? as I cannot believe the struggles you've gone through for a bathroom. Its not right. My heart goes out to you and I'd like to say well done for fighting and getting the bathroom. Budget cuts do not come into the DFG decisions as it is a mandatory legal reqirement that a disabled child has 24 hr access to the bathroom. I live in Plymouth and the peple who make the DFG decisions are not the social service OTs they just make the referals. You can also refer yourslef. So here I would make my own referal to the council, who then have an obligation to assess you, and see what they say. I don't know if its the same where you are but, maybe this will help.
