Changes to working Tax Credit Hours

Hello I am not sure if everybody is aware of the changes coming into place as of the 6 April 2012. If you are a couple, (this does not effect single parents, or those in receipt of a Disability benefit), you will have to work 24 hours between you. So those families were only one person works 16-23 hours, they will no longer be entitled to Working Tax Credit. As this effects me and the fact that I am a carer in receipt of DLA for my son, it makes no difference and either I or my husband will have to get a further 8 hours to qualify. We have both tried to get more hours but in this current climate it has been impossible. I thought I would mention it on here because there seems to be quite a lot of people not aware of these changes. Best wishes. |

If u are after a way to get hours but not much money you could try being an Avon rep
I registered as self employed as a rep but only earn about £500 a year after expenses but it worked out with dropping off, packing nd the rest it averaged about 6 hours a week and that's with a small area
There comes a point in your life when you realize:Who matters,Who never did,Who won't anymore...And who always will.. So, don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it to your future. |
