Families who have children and young people with special needs very often deal with similar life styles. We have all had concerns ranging from education,acess to services,respite and other issues directly related to their childrens needs. Parents of disabled children bring families together for friendship, to share information and to support one another.

The forum was created by parents who have children with special needs and is run by parents so we are all in this together. With us you will realise you are not alone

i just want to share a brilliant therapy that my daughter had and still does. Its called The Bowen Therapy. My daughter who has Angelman Syndrome, did not walk until she was 3 years old and then only in pedro boots and she walked like a robot with her arms way out to her side, for balance and she looked like she had just got off a horse. Bowen therapy got her walking , out of pedro boots and now she walks only with a slight jerk , but only if she is running. Whenever she looks unbalanced , she has therapy, it has been good for calming her, and has helped with my stress and other problems.
