Benefit payment dates for 2009-2010 Christmas and bank holiday payments

With the festive season upon us i just wanted to let members know of payment dates for benefits over the christmas period. Tax credits and Child Benefit payments over Christmas If you get tax credits, your payments may be paid a little earlier than usual over Christmas and New Year. Payment dates that are affected are as follow: December Date of bank holiday 25 Dec 2009 (Christmas Day) Date your payment will be made 24 Dec 2009 Date of bank holiday 28 Dec 2009 (bank holiday) Date your payment will be made 24 Dec 2009 Date of bank holiday 29 Dec 2009 (Northern Ireland only) Date your payment will be made 24 Dec 2009 January Date of bank holiday 1 Jan 2010 (New Year's Day) Date your payment will be made 31 Dec 2009 Date of bank holiday 4 Jan 2010 (Scotland only) Date your payment will be made 31 Dec 2009 March Date of bank holiday 17 Mar 2010 (St Patrick's Day - Northern Ireland only) Date your payment will be made 16 Mar 2010 April Date of bank holiday 2 Apr 2010 (Good Friday) Date your payment will be made 1 Apr 2010 Date of bank holiday 5 Apr 2010 (Easter Monday) Date your payment will be made 1 Apr 2010 May Date of bank holiday 3 May 2010 (early May bank holiday) Date your payment will be made 30 Apr 2010 Date of bank holiday 31 May 2010 (spring bank holiday) Date your payment will be made 28 May 2010 July Date of bank holiday 12 Jul 2010 (Battle of the Boyne - Northern Ireland only) Date your payment will be made 9 Jul 2010 August Date of bank holiday 2 Aug 2010 (Scotland only) Date your payment will be made 30 Jul 2010 Date of bank holiday 30 Aug 2010 (summer bank holiday) Date your payment will be made 27 Aug 2010 December Date of bank holiday 27 Dec 2010 (bank holiday) Date your payment will be made 24 Dec 2010 Date of bank holiday 28 Dec 2010 (bank holiday) Date your payment will be made 24 Dec 2010 Date of bank holiday 29 Dec 2010 (Northern Ireland only) Date your payment will be made 24 Dec 2010 Child benefit will be uneffected apparently but i would also imagine it will be paid early because of the Bank holiday ![]() Our Irish members can also use our new website for Ireland which is |
