Im in the process of proof reading Noah's DLA form. After thinking about it Im wondering if I could put something in the section regarding "Does the child have blackouts, fits, seizures or something like this? Those of you who's ASD children suffer severe "meltdowns" would you liken them to any of the above? Thanks |

I didnt put anything about the meltdowns in that particular section. However, i did refer to them on a separate piece of paper in a section further on when asked about other difficulties. I wrote about 3 pages of stuff after keeping a diary for a number of weeks. x

think thats more for Children with epilepsy, meltdowns might be part of the disability but a fit or blackout could actually be something more than what the child has been diagnosed with, i think like dellym says you should put it on the section where it asks is there anything more you would like to tell us about.
corinne There comes a point in your life when you realize:Who matters,Who never did,Who won't anymore...And who always will.. So, don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it to your future. |
