Hello I would say all round a mota bility car is well worth it you are covered for everything, an d you are entitled to 4 new tyres every 4 years we just found out. we are desperate to get out and about with our new car as I wont have to lift the wheelchair into the car anymore or lift my son in his passenger seat tis will be remote control very expensive at £5,000 it comes right out of the car and right down to the floor so he can wiggle his bum onto the seat also with him having special harnes he will not have to need a booster seat i went onto the think safe drive safe website and put this info into them and thats what they said. which is very good as i dont have to spend more money out. The adaptations to the car were covered by motab ility it just took a struggle for others to communicate between each other. It was stressful for me as its not my cup of tea doing this along with other things to do besides going to lot sof hospital appointments. But it will be worth the wait. If you are not happy with the service you are getting at motability just ask for someone in charge ie manager of the grants department and explain to them you feel like you are going around in circles as everyone you speak to pass you on to someone who doesnt really understand your needs. Keep at them xxx

ive done away with the idea of help with money, ive struggled to long to get the higher rate as it is, i dont want to wait another six months for them to decide. i'm putting my own savings into it and probley getting the ford S max zetec for £499 an advance payment. ive done about 6 garages today and not one of them had the car in at all, one garge did have the new zafira in but due to a flat battery they could not show me round it!!!!!! as it was all locked up. ringways in leeds is giving me a test drive tomorrow and can deliver next week!!!!!!!! for the new shape Smax the lady there was so helpfull and friendly and genuine not a money grabber. customer car wins me every time.

The one thing i must say about mobility leasing is that all the staff do seem nice and not as pushy when buying in other methods.
I went to Ford garages and the lady there was brill and i went to renault garages and the man there was great as well and the citreon garage i finally settled on the woman was great as well.
Maybe they are less pushy as they are getting there set amount of money (Full car amount) rather than having to bargain and knock money of screen prices or throw in freebies etc.
Or maybe mobility run good courses on customer managment to be able to take part in the scheme?

Or maybe me and you have just been lucky and there are some mobility dragon salesmen /sales women out there Big Grin
