help with updating dla award with child tax credits ..

hi , my son Thomas has just been awarded high rate care & low rate mobility .. Thomas was on middle rate care & low rate mobility .. the date we give tax credits about our change in circumstances to do with the dla is it the date of the letter ( 2nd Feb 2011 ) or the date we were awarded which was 19th November 2010 .. dla have back dated the dla to the date we put in our new application for the dla to be renewed .. its just ive just contact child tax credits and told them the date we were awarded is 19th November 2011 .. help please !! |

Did you mean 2010 on the last line? I would say the date you were awarded because it's not your fault that it took 3 months to get a letter.
