Families who have children and young people with special needs very often deal with similar life styles. We have all had concerns ranging from education, acess to services, respite and other issues directly related to their childrens needs. Parents of disabled children bring families together for friendship, to share information and to support one another.

The forum was created by parents who have children with special needs and is run by parents so we are all in this together. With us you will realise you are not alone

Parents of disabled children launched in October 2009 and we are growing day by day and are fastly becoming a major support resource for all

Sorry Confused but that's really bad advice!! And sadly its what a lot of people dish out however you need to fill it out considering an AVERAGE day otherwise you could be liable for fraud. If you think, some people might have 1 bad day a week, its hardly a fair assessment to base it on that day when in reality its not a regular day. We always advise keeping a diary for a week or 2 prior to filling the forms out, helps you see clearly what your average day consists of and also helps with the repetative questions on the form that ask timescales etc Smile Xx

Going on your worse day possible is likely to find people in trouble with disability living allowance and its been known for people to be done for benefit fraud for going on the worse day possible.
The most effective way is to go on your average day and keep a diary for 2 weeks prior to completing a form and then detailing your average day on the claims form.

Citizens advice used to advise the worse day but now official advice is to go on an average day and i cant stress that enough.
