Announcement

Families who have children and young people with special needs very often deal with similar life styles. We have all had concerns ranging from education, acess to services, respite and other issues directly related to their childrens needs. Parents of disabled children bring families together for friendship, to share information and to support one another.

The forum was created by parents who have children with special needs and is run by parents so we are all in this together. With us you will realise you are not alone

Parents of disabled children launched in October 2009 and we are growing day by day and are fastly becoming a major support resource for all

spoke to DLA today they said they having problems they have sent for nursery report but headteacher gone on holiday
well great the woman completely hates me as i made it clear she has put us in danger so since then shes been very off with me

i asked to do work placement there she said no due to school policy which i know is complete lie so i think she will paint a rosey picture

ive recieved jack report off pead so il be sending that tommorrow and have to wait an see

pead report says
gross motor- 30month mild delay
manip skills- 30months mild delay
visual skills- 36month appropriate (hes 42month)
hearing and language- 30 mild mild
speech an lan- 18month - severe delay
social inter skill- 26month - moderate
selfcare social skill- 48month (dont understand why so high)

has clinodactyly
prominent forehead
fading haemangioma there no other neurocutaneous stigmata or dysmorphic features

main part says i have noted that jack has good eye contact. i have also noted that he lines up bricks and also lines up small containers in clinic room today. he did not get upset during change to another task. i have also noted that he is always holding the blue bag with him except when he did development test. i also noted that jack holds mums chin and neck to face when he wants to talk to her

could this be enough along with salt,gp an nursey
