Announcement

Families who have children and young people with special needs very often deal with similar life styles. We have all had concerns ranging from education, acess to services, respite and other issues directly related to their childrens needs. Parents of disabled children bring families together for friendship, to share information and to support one another.

The forum was created by parents who have children with special needs and is run by parents so we are all in this together. With us you will realise you are not alone

Parents of disabled children launched in October 2009 and we are growing day by day and are fastly becoming a major support resource for all

hi castopher
you would also need to inform tax credits as depending on the rate you could get some disabled child tax credits which helps too
corinne

just to add while you dont need to put on here what you were awarded as that is personal i want to state that the members we have here have never given anything but congratulations towards good news regarding dla and have not shown animosity, more likely they would ask for help in filling out the forms Angel

There comes a point in your life when you realize:Who matters,Who never did,Who won't anymore...And who always will..
So, don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it to your future.

Hello enough about this animosity thing ,

It was a personal decision I was unsure. I think its getting a bit Exaggerated, as it was merely a worry for me which for some reason has turned into an issue. So I shall not be commenting any further on my post but thanks for your help which I have been constantly been saying as and really did apreciate It. If moderators could not see why a memeber maybe unsure why to post the amount may worry them a bit without taking it aa a personal remark I shall not be commenting any further again and you moderators go out of your way to help people, any if things are going to be picked out that dont exist you we getting of the beaten track and talking about somthing which was certainly not meant in the context it has been picked up in.

Confused
No no dont worry!
Nobody has been having a go!
We respect your choice on the matter not to divulge your award.
The point Corinne made was that nobody has ever been rude or jealous or made comments about awards.
And my point was it wouldnt be tollerated anyway Blush
We all have our right to privacy and as i said intially it was only with your intention i asked but that was cleared up and then Corinne said about how it wouldnt have been commented on as this forum is just not like that.
We do not tollerate abuse of any kind and to be honest this forum moderates itself in regards to members behaviour as our forum members are kind, supportive and fantastic and as a special needs forum people would understand your award or your wish to keep it private.
I get the feeling you have taken it personally for some reason and im not sure why? Huh

I intially wanted to be sure you were happy with the award and you were and Corinne made a comment to reassure you of the good intentions of the forum members Smile
That was all and there was no hard feelings of any kind from me or Corinne
