Appointment With Paed Today
cheapsensorytoys
Made an appointment with Noah's Paed for this afternoon to discuss Melatonin. Im almost finnished filling out his DLA Claim.
As it stands I have based his application on what nights are like without it and will make a note where relevant, depending what happens this afternoon regarding gettting it on prescription and officially on his records.
Does this sound ok? I figure I have covered all bases doing it this way?
(oh and the person I saw last week who was supposed to "help" me fill out his form was next to usless!! waste of my time, hence I'm doing it myself Confused)

hope the appointment goes ok, i'm sure if you've discussed it before the paed will more than happy to prescribe. Even if you havent discussed it (which i'm sure you mentioned you had...) as they are aware of his problems they should be able to help Smile

I have herd a few people say that the people helping fill out forms havent been very usefull......Confused i tried to do ours but dan always ends up changing my wording Big Grin hes so much better than me at these things! good luck Big Grin i'm sure you'll do fine !

Ok I think Undecided
I had arranged to see her after a speech therapy session but she came into the session to speak to me. I showed her what I was giving Noah and explained the dosage. She sid she would be happy to pescribe more once the current bottle had run out. I explined about the dla claim and she said it wouldnt be a problem. That she would fill out any forms etc sent regarding this.
So I think I can now state that Noah needs meltonin in order to sleep, with the agreement of the paed, and that she will be pescribing it for him in the future.
Do I still need to state what his routine was like before meltonin? and what it is like with and the fact that he "needs" it in order to go to sleep?
