Anyone Applied For Carers Allowance Online?
|
|

I applied online last week just after I recieved Noahs DLA Claim. Anyhoo the form was simple to fill out, but it seemed too easy? The only questions asked regarding Noah were basic ones as in his name age and address. Are they able to get the info they need from their records to be able to process the claim, or will I have to wait and then send supporting evidence in the post? Just wondered what the time scale is roughly Thanks x |

The carers form is very easy as they can cross check with the DLA system hence the lack of questions.
But dont question it or it will be a 15 page form before we know it ![]() Carers allowance take anything between 4-6 weeks but i have known it be a little quicker and also a little longer. ![]() Our Irish members can also use our new website for Ireland which is |

I've never done it (been turned down for DLA) but if it works, then it's certainly something worth doing. I hate the forms for DLA and stuff, they are a nightmare to fill in properly!
Good Luck and let us know if it goes through ok. Married to my Soulmate since 12.12.09 Together since 30.01.04 Became a mum of a special child on 03.12.02 ![]() Became a mum to another beautiful daughter on 01.09.2005

If you are in receipt of DLA and providing you dont exceed the income criteria and that the hours are over 35 hours you dont get turned down so thats a good start
