We have all had concerns ranging from education, acess to services, respite and other issues directly related to their childrens needs. Parents of disabled children bring families together for friendship, to share information and to support one another.

The forum was created by parents who have children with special needs and is run by parents so we are all in this together. With us you will realise you are not alone

Parents of disabled children launched in October 2009 and we are growing day by day and are fastly becoming a major support resource for all

As we look to go into 2011 we are always looking at ways to engage users and keep them happy on the parents of disabled children website.
What would you like to see parents of disabled children offer in 2011?
Any suggestions for website features or anything similar?

We welcome feedback and really do try and adapt the site to suit members along the way so any suggestions are always welcomed Smile

I really like the site and I think you have done an amazing job =D. I searched for sites for a long time before I came across this one and it really is the best I found. I do think there are lots more members then people who post but maybe we just need to entice them more with posts and things. The spotlight member ones are really good. I really like the way you have sorted the site and the posts and sections etc and I don't really think much more needs to be done. Maybe we could get the word out about the site more?!

Will I EVER stop having to fight for my son to have what he NEEDS!? Huh

you did talk at one time about getting some cards done that could be handed out, can guarrantee when i am telling someone about the site i dont have a pen and paper to hand so end up writing it on a tissue or something hehe and can only think they get lost as dont seem to see them here Blush

There comes a point in your life when you realize:Who matters,Who never did,Who won't anymore...And who always will..
So, don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it to your future.

I LOVE this group!!! there is always someone here when I need them, and love the new sales section. I can't think of anything that needs changing, it's great as it is, and the moderators should feel very proud of themselves for a job well done.
